    Case trimming/prep

Frankfort arsenal universal trimmer has worked well for me so far. I’ve been using the Lyman hand tool for chamfering and deburring but that’s getting pretty old. I wouldn’t mind getting an all in one station at some point

New to Reloading - book suggestions?

Lyman book is worth owning as well. They don’t make powder or projectiles so you’ll get nosler, Hornady, Sierra, ect bullet load data in the book.

    Ultrasonic cleaners

I started with a harbor freight ultrasonic cleaner. Didn’t clean the brass the way I was hoping for. Additives are expensive for it too. And the unit I have I need to reset the timer every 8 minutes. I do my brass cleaning in my garage so going in and out all the time got old pretty quick. For...

    Savage model 10?

New to rokslide and new to upgrading rifles. A new found appreciation for long range shooting has me interested doing some work to my savage model 10. It’s currently chambered in .243 but I’m thinking of changing the barrel to a 6.5cm, 270wsm or .308. Then potentially upgrading the wooden stock...

First rifle purchase - Left Handed

I’m a lefty, got a lefty brother and 2 of my good friends are lefty as well. 3 of us prefer left hand rifles, one was raised shooting right hand rifles so has chosen to ride with that. Shotguns are a different story, but if you can get a left hand gun I certainly would

Straight wall vs slug gun vs inline muzzleloader poll

Here in IL we’re going to be able to use a 350 and 450 next season. We have to keep them single shot however. Without having any experience with the straight walls, I much prefer carrying my inline muzzleloader over my 12ga. My T/C has much less recoil and significantly more accurate. Killed a...

    Iron Will Question

as long as you have your bow tuned you shouldnt notice a difference between any of them. vented will be easier to tune, the solid wides are going to be the toughest because of the blade surface area. vented will be the only ones that arent silent though. each has their advantage. ive killed...

    Northwest Nebraska

I hunted out there last fall. It’s tough and came home empty. I’d skip the spotting scope and put that extra 300 into better glass. Vortex are decent but definitely better options. Get a tripod and decent fluid head. Also I’d have about 5 other option with pins dropped just in case (fires...
