Its not that i dont like it, just never felt completely comfortable with in. Maybe i should have bought the Nirtum 34 instead of the turbo. I dont know...... I struggled with the grip until i bought an Ultraview grip. Major improvement.
I ended up getting the the Option 7. Shot it several times...
Im thinking of buying a new Option 7. 65lbs. Price is good and direct from a dealer who has treated me very well over the years even when ive had bows i havent purchased from him. Hes good and knows his stuff.
This bow would replace my Nitrum Turbo. I shoot it pretty good, but have never felt...
Mmmmmmm. Im sitting on 6pts with the original intent on hunting a good LE unit in the next few years but from the sounds if it, thats unlikely to happen.
I might just end up sharing my pts with a good hunting partner and hunt general.
My results mirrior others here. 165gr in 30-06 for a friend of mine and hes smashed every deer hes hit. Shoots them out of his pump remington and has no complaints.
The key to prevent them from rattling is to crimp, or kink the line. Take pliers and pinch the line in several places along the length and trim to fit. Super easy.
Ive read several times over the years of guys having trouble with the weight tubes so i never tried them. But crimping weed eater...
Weed eater line is cheap and wont affect the spine of your current arrows.
Depending on line dia, you might be able to get to sections in the shaft for even more weight.
I experimented with my CX Reds to get right around 280fps which ended up weighing about 510gr if i remember correctly.
I used them for the 1st time this year and killed a buck and doe with the 125's.
They fly well and had them hitting very close with my SlickTricks so that i could shoot either one.
I like them.
Im not a fan of the 2nd gripper. I have one and it would cause my arrows to bend slightly. The most extreme was the 1st arrow position and i wnded up modifiing it to prevent the bending. ultimately, i removed it.
When i hunt CO, we travel rt70. there is one maybe two sections that have a toll and im pretty sure its in Kansas. There could be a couple other sect of tolls here in PA depending on the road. There is some construction going on but it wasnt too bad. We actually hit more coming home in Columbus...
I too shoot CX Maxima Red arrows, 350's. 29.5" draw, but cut shorter than yours. So here is my perspective.
1st, your arrows are stiff enough for your setup. Cutting them a little shorter with stiffen them up a bit more.
2nd, shoot them with a broadhead and see how they do. Fast arrows can...
Some of you fellas keep talking about much better options for food than MH, but no one seems to ever mention what those options are.
Please feel free to share!
Sounds like i might have to get one of these. My inflatable pillow isnt that comfortable to me.
Was thinking of cutting a pillow i like in half and resewing it to use when spiking out.
