I'm waffling between the 7mm-08 and 280ai for my one North American rifle to do it all. I currently live on the east coast and so the 7-08 is really appealing. If I ever move west though, it would be nice to have the juice to take a moose at 400 if required. Maybe I'll get a Tikka T3x in 7-08...
Has anyone used this scope extensively enough to determine if its durability and quality are up to the task? Seems like an excellent scope for the money
Don't larger objective diameters create a smaller depth of field? This means that for quick acquisition applications a smaller objective would be advantageous.
