    I did mean the Barnes, not Berger. And hand loads are an option, just need to find the right bullet. I’ll have to give them a look. And what is the IIRC? My understanding was that tipped bullets were less reliable with expanding fully, but I obviously have very limited experience and research.

    I have my measurements, and that’s why I was leaning towards the Nemo Disco, and the Rab bags provide real survival and comfort temperatures, but again, most of their 0* bags are just too slim. I’ll look at the WM Kodak, thank you!

    There are bucks in there, but I haven’t ever been in there during October. A lot of the stuff where you would imagine getting away from other people isn’t super good deer habitat. There are other areas of the unit that will carry larger deer populations.

    Well the trip that I am planning for is know for extremely variable weather, and when talking about a could weather situation, in my specific case, I would be expecting near 0*- 20* F temps at night. This will be in a floorless shelter with a lightweight wood stove, most likely snow on the ground.
