    Fierce Firearms Disaster

I have a CT Rival that shoots well, and have never had an issue in communication w/them. But like Christensen Arms, there seems to be a lot of variability in production and customer support.

Who wears rubber gloves to clean game ?

This was the first year I used gloves on al of the animals I field dressed. Many of our hunts are late season, so cleaning up with snow at -10 is really not an option. I keep 2 pairs in my side pants pocket now and will continue to do so.

    Colorado stopping OTC

The Eastman's Newsletter/Email (1/23/23) had a heading of "Colorado Kills OTC!" which I'm sure some people responded negatively to. The commission agreed to remove OTC for the Grand Mesa only. There is a 5 yr Big game structure they need to abide by.

16 Colorado resident antelope points. Where would you hunt?

I have seen very few CO goats worth 16 points. Saw a couple in the mid 70's range in Unit 2, but not the numbers one would expect.

    Best handheld radio?

I bought the Baofang uv-82hp and they have performed much better than my Motorola's. I was within a few miles of the person I was communicating with and they were behind a ridge, but not in canyon country.
