Where are you guys seeing the made in Japan on yours? I'm not finding it.
They're pretty underwhelming to me, I'll take them in the field tomorrow but probably return.
It's coming later this year. I don't think it'll help MPG much though.

I think it's awesome that they're building a "budget" option, that doesn't have all the Lexus luxuries/add-ons.

The 3-15x44 Optika 5 I just listed seems to fit your budget and needs. It's a nice scope, it just ended up being the odd man out on my rifle shuffling.

I've tried it with poor results. I can get focus and sight picture, but the eye strain seems exponentially worse.
It sucks how limited the optIons are on spotters for folks with glasses.
