Ryan, thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this contest. There were a lot of great pictures and guys with great success stories. I also want to thank your kids for making their choices. I have tried to send a couple of messages to you, but am using a cell phone and don't know if it's...
Haha yeah his face stayed like that for almost every picture. I have been around a lot of people who go through "shock" and he definitely was in shock. The best was when he saw what the "beast" green scored. He kept telling himself prior to it having a tape put on it, that it wasn't that big.
Thanks everyone for the "congratulations". It truly was an experience we will never forget. It is a caliber of bull that any bow hunter would dream about and to be able to take a bull of that caliber in an area that is not a trophy area or special permit area makes it even that much better.
Thank you all for the compliments. I felt blessed to be able to be there for my longtime friend and hunting partner.

Climbed the one behind this lake on Saturday. I could not have been wetter if I would've jumped in the lake. It was almost a 16 mile day and per GPS 6800 total ascent. Due to the rain I was back to truck in 8 hrs.
