    Thanks... Definitely want a variable scope, semi budget like $300 mark. Going on a short barreled 308. Dont really plan on shooting farther than maybe 200yds while hunting but i never know when might want to on the range. Really was looking at 4-12x50s.

    Tikka makes a foldable one too but good bit more $$$... my thoughts were could shoot a heavier bullet out of .308 than 300blk out there for more KE and knockdown. Example ur shooting both aO 300blk and a 308 at 1000fps, 300blk is 150 grain bullet, where .308 is 200 or 220 grain bullet... .308...

    Im in the market to buy a compact 16" or less .308 to shoot subsonics out of a banish 30... Been looking at Christensens MPR and Sig Cross both with a 16" barrel. OR my mind has been pondering going really short .308 like a Savage psc 10.5" barrel or a Christensen MPP with a 12.5" barrel...
