Looking at a new Metcalf. I have a MDT folding stock and was wondering if anyone out there carries a folding stock rifle on the side. Mainly wondering if the extra width of a folded stock will fit in that stretchy side pocket. Thanks.
You are right, the 280 AI has very limited offerings for pre made ammo. I would stay away. Lots of other good calibers around there (7mm Reg Mag, 7mm WSM, 6.5 PRC).
Personally, unless it has a pistol style grip I will never use a "traditional" style stock. I love chassis stocks. I love the adjustability, the accessories (ARCA rail), etc. Weight for most is an issue that is why they don't lend themselves to hunting on foot. But there are a few lightweight...
Thanks for all the feedback on the tent. New to the tent world, that sidewall thing is different. Something to look into. Still not sold on the trekking pole tent mainly because of the slope of the walls.

Great podcast and a great company to deal with. The amount of info on their website is great. Not overload but just what you need. The spreadsheets are awesome and I am just getting into the training program.

—Factory-produced clothing containing permethrin cannot be manufactured or sold in Canada or...

Hey everyone question for the group. Pretty new to backpacking. Started coyote this winter with a Eberlestock Gunslinger. Day trips walking from stand to stand. I have always wanted to get into backpacking camping and hunting so I am planning a 5-7 day elk hunt this fall. I will be going out for...
