I’m fortunate enough to hunt from the middle of summer through February and March most years. Because of that my bow tends to be treated no different than a hammer or a screw driver. It would take a substantial amount of money for me to put an axcel product on a hunting bow. I am not saying they...
No such thing as a torque insensitive bow, you’re going to need to look for a bow that is capable of being tuned regardless of what you’re CONSISTENTLY doing to it.
Also you could look at an OK Archery bows probably as close to your wish list as you’ll find.

I’ve lived and hunted all over this country and have shot the fast Eddie for god knows how long now. It has its obvious benefits if you’re hunting out west but it shines in the whitetail woods. The double pin is what I run and I leave it at 25/40 in the treestand. Two pins kill a deer from 0-45...
No, total drop will be affected beyond 40 but the drop per yard is going to be similar across arrow weights and speeds from 400-500gr.
Trajectory is a curve, you get to look at a small portion of that curve when looking through your sight. As you go heavier the portion of the curve you get to...
I got some samples of the AirRazors this week, gonna be a no for me. Adhesion wasn’t nearly as good as the typical hybrid design, and if you travel at all during the hunting season a stiff vane that keeps a memory is going to eventually put you in a bind. Sound from a vane is difficult to...
This bow has barely been shot, I just don’t have the time to do it justice these days. Looking for 1450$ bare bow. The hamskea and DS advantage can be negotiated into the deal. I can provide more pictures I just wanted to throw it out there for now.

Not much a Q&A but an observation. Had one of these In the 556 reticle flavor mounted on a rifle for a hog hunt last week. Scope had performed great, shot some pigs one evening and the next evening the reticle had spun about 30deg. Rifle hadn’t been dropped and was carried nearly everywhere...
This is very practical and sound advice^^^
From my experience a guy needs to really do some reflection on what his typical hunting shot distance is going to be. Peep height is going to have a dramatic impact on your ability to achieve the next level of accuracy most guys never achieve...
