Academically interesting, but I'll pass. Looks like a lot of work to make a relatively cheap item.
Instead, I'll continue to just repurpose boxed wine bladders into disposable camp canteens.

Yeah, the DIY canteen is a bit more than necessary...but how do you fill the wine bladders? (Or "space bags!!!" As we called them in college)

Sorry no pics, but you just pull out the valve, fill and pop the valve back in. Not exactly durable, but functional. What's a 5L box of wine cost? ... $10-15 on sale? For that I get a happy wife, some exercise, and a free water bladder. Can't beat that price.

For the Bandit fans out there, the empty is now multi-purpose.
(isn't that one of the Rokslide criteria on making it into the pack?)

I have definitely repurposed bandit cartons. And I have wanted to use wine bladders for more than a pillow...guess I better get my wife to switch back to boxed wine.
