It was a really nice bear. My buddy PJ got that elk. There was two more bears at that carcass over the next two days as well, but too far to video.

Anybody planning an elk/muley hunt in Colorado especially as a group should consider putting in for a bear tag. Every elk kill we've had over the years had a bear on the carcass within 24 hours. With more guys hunting as a group the chance of a kill/carcass rises and the bear tag will come in use. Colorado is full of bears and the season usually coincides with Archery/Muzzleloader I believe. I've seen some slammer boars over the years and never have a tag.
