I'm not quite done with it but figured it was far enough to post some pictures. For fathers day I asked for a sewing machine to build a few projects and modify a few packs to better suit my liking. I'm going to sew on some more webbing in loops down the middle of the shelf so I can feed the cross straps through and help provide some stability to the setup when loaded down with deboned meat bags.

Cost is easy....
It will cost you...
- An order with http://www.rockywoods.com/ for cordura, buckles & webbing
- An order with Amazon for a Singer 4411 - http://www.amazon.com/4411-Extra-High-Machine-Stainless-Bedplate/dp/B003VWXZKG
- A stop into your local fabric store for some polyester foliage colored thread (can also buy at rockywoods).
- A box of chocolate to your mother or mother in law on some quick sewing tips.
- A ton of harassing from your buddies that you've gotten pretty domestic. I don't mind I just move them to the bottom of the list of building stuff for.

My first project was a soft top for my polaris ranger that I made from Sunbrella material. That was a project and a half and at times involved all my family in holding the large amount of material to feed through the sewing machine. It's not one I care to do again but saved a ton of money and was worth it.
