After going 4 years without a moose I finally broke the drought with this 52"er. Shot him at 30 yards with a Marlin XLR 45-70 and 420gr Garrett Hammerheads, it made 2 small holes and no meat was damaged in the process. Buddy also scored with an offhand, 300 yard shot on a forked horn with his 300 win mag. Seen lots of bulls but it took me 4 days to find one big enough to take.

Congrats, good bull with cool fronts and I bet getting the side-by-side that close was way nice once the work started.

Congrats, that is awesome, heading out this weekend with my pops (67yr young) this weekend to do some calling; see if he can't bring back some of his old magic and a nice bull to boot :)

Yep, it was Luke. Was that 4 brow tine bull a spindly racked bull, if it was one of the guys in our camp took him on opening day I believe. Did you go in for caribou again?
