HS Precision 300 RUM SPL

Just got my 300 RUM SPL in an HS precision! Have all my reloading stuff ready to rock, just have to find a scope for it. Right now the leader is a Swaro Z6 3-18 X 50. Hopefully I'll be ready to go for next year as I don't foresee this gun being broke in and having a load worked up this year. Wish me luck!

Great rifle! Mine loved Berger 215 hybrids and H1000

My RUM liked the 215g Berger hybrids with either Retumbo or H1000 behind them. Have fun picking out a load!

How did the bullets perform on game? I've heard some complaints about berger performance on game. As of now my plan was to try nosler ab and bt with h1000, retumbo, 7828, and 4350

I received my SPL 280 Ackley Improved in August and put a Nightforce 3.5-15 NXS on it and just killed a Mountain Goat with it already. Used Berger VLDs 168. My only 1 shot kill on Mountain Goat. Good luck, mine shoots fantastic and I don't think your experience will differ.

On game performance of the 215g Berger Hybrid was excellent on the elk that I shot.
I took a Dall Sheep with a 150g Berger Hunting VLD from my 270WSM and it was a one shot bang flop.
