Do you guys like knives with gut hooks? Why or why not?

I like my havalon( no gut hook) because I don't gut animals.

Don't like knives with gut hooks. But I love my Havalon knife and my Wyoming knife. My 2 knife combo I never hunt without.
Ditto to what Drhorsepower said. Havalon and no gutting.

I have a gut hook but not on a knife & it works well for keeping the lines straight when skinning a bear or caping other trophys.
I don't care for a gut hook on a gut hook on a knife, but it does have its uses for making the initial lines while skinning lighter game or for opening the guts to relieve pressure so you can get at the tenderloins more easily. A couple of weeks back, I watched two guys really struggle getting at some moose tenders, when it would have been much easier if they would have spent the minute it would have taken to open up the guts and create some working space. IMO some guys take too much pride in the "gutless" aspect.
