My buddy and I spotted him two days before the rifle opener here in Oregon. We told our selves hunt him only or go home empty handed. I shot him at 346 yards with my custom rem 700 7mm stw with the 180gr berger bullet. I used the kifaru nomad for the pack out with the bikini frame and it work out great. My 9 year old son packed out a front shoulder 1.8 miles out of the canyon.
