Good day fellow Hunters,
I drew Elk tags for Montana unit 313-50, I will only be able to hunt the unit in Nov. Does anybody have a "best time" to hunt that area in Nov, or any other "good" information they don't mind sharing. I don't mind a hard hunt, and I don't want peoples secret spots, just general information on conditions I can expect to encounter would be greatly appreciated. I have hunted several other states and would be willing to share information. I know the wolfs have done significant damage to both the local elk and migratory herd in that area, and there is several guides that work that unit as well.
