What can I do with the cape??

I've got a cape bagged and stored in the freezer from the buck I shot in November. I wasn't sure how I wanted to mount it so I took out the cape as well. I decided to euro mount the skull so now I have a cape that I won't be using. Are there taxidermists that can make use of it? Should I just toss it? Thanks for the help.

If done right they worth $50 -75 up here check with a local taxi or ask friends I got a cape from my son's buck a couple years ago to have my big buck done

I was going to say the same thing. I know my Taxidermist will pay $45 for one if it's in decent shape. Too often guys come in wanting a shoulder mount and have done something to screw up the cape so Taxidermists like to keep extras on hand.

Cool, thank you. I'll get a hold of some of the local taxis. The cape is in pretty good shape, I was careful getting it off and had a buddy help with taking it off the skull. It would be nice to see it go to use, whether I get a little cash or not.

I tried my taxi capes for euro work all the time.
