Does anyone know if Enlightened equipment ever has sales on their quilts? I know they have garage sale items, but I was wondering if there is a time of year or an event where they have discounts.
 
If I remember right they had a cyber weekend sale last year. I think they've had a small memorial day sale in the past, but this is their busiest time of year so I doubt they'd have a sale anytime soon.
 
They are supposed to be doing another drop on massdrop sometime this month....They'll have the revelation quilt up again.
 
What does everyone get for the down fill options?? I'm on the verge of ordering one but can't decide on the fill I'll most likely just do 800 unless there's a major advantage to the 850,900, or 950.
 
Yes they have sales. They also have been on massdrop. I have 2 quilts a 40 and 0. I use 850 and the treated down. The higher the fill power the more loft and less weight for equivalent warmth. I recall they have a FAX on thier site on fill rating and power. If not call them they are very helpful.
 
Ya the fill rating basically just drops the weight a little. I got 850. It shows on their site the difference in weight and price per fill and size on their specs chart. Whether it's worth the difference is personal choice.

I have been talking regularly with Enlightened Equipment and we are 100% sure there will be a drop for the Revelation quilt, likely next week!!!!
FYI, we are discussing the possibility for an Enigma drop later in summer too, but this is tentative as of now.

I just got this off of the Mass Drop website! Im pretty sure they did 20% off last time, but not positive.
 
I'm seriously considering picking one of these up. I am going to climb Mount Rainer at the end of July and trying to cut weight from my gear. Has anybody used these for mountaineering? I'm also looking at the WM Alpinlite because I'm still not sure I'm ready to make the jump to the quilt.
 
When they do a drop on Massdrop do you get to pick your options? I don't care about much of anything other than temp rating and size. It can be purple with polka dots for all I care. I just want the size and temp rating to be right for my needs.
 
Hey guys, just a heads up on our plans for the year. We will only have the Black Week Cyber Monday sale this year on our website, it has been 10% in the past, no reason to think that will change but just no certainty at this point about what it will be this year. MassDrop should be doing something very soon. Last year it was pick and choose out of all the Revelation options, this year it won't be like that. We picked the most common option and made up a big batch for them with one exclusive feature you won't ever find on the EE website. That should be very soon. There are talks of another drop later this year but our production queue will dictate if/when that happens. We have been getting more orders than we could imagine and are moving to a big new shop so we can hire the people it takes to get it all built, but it won't happen over night.
