TIPI of interest.

I recently ran across the Roben Tents from Denmark and ordered a FAIRBANKS model for my summer canoe trips [weight not a great issue]. But their GREEN CONE model caught my eye for possible hunting use here in Alaska. It has some interesting features especially the tie-outs.......initial thoughts would be to put a stove pipe jack in the vestibule area.


There are no dealers in USA but I was able to order the FAIRBANKS through EBay and it has arrived at my buddies home in Seward. I'll give a further report on quality after a fish trip or caribou hunt.

They did a version of my home made tipi here with the little eve....I like this design.

at 35.5 lbs it's a great looking tent, but not a backpacker unless you are THE MAN!
