So I am strongly considering the NEMO Apollo floorless tent to shave off two pounds in my upcoming backcountry Hunt. I do have some reservations...mainly if it rains. What does everyone do to prevent rain from getting in your tent? Thanks in advance!

What do you mean keep the rain from getting in? The tent keeps the rain out. Try to set up on a small high point and not in a hole. As long as you don't set up in a water flow path you will be fine.

I spent the night in a Kifaru paratipi a few years back in The Mark Twain National forest on a Turkey hunt. A tornado touched down 8 miles from my camp, raining to beat hell but no rain came in. I didn't sleep well though.

Setup in correct area and you will have zero issues. I recently purchased the LUXE Hexpeak XL Teepee. Really nice quality, light and super affordable.
