After 46 days(yep, they forgot about my order,it happen sometimes)i finally got my Seekoutside Newest design for the lbo base+tarp+vestibule set-up.

I am a big fan of Seekoutside,bt2,4 man,6man and now luttle bug out shelter, this time i feel like they let me down on that tarp,i was following the forum thread talking about this new tarp from the begining,i talked a lot with the owner(Kevin) about it and i was happy with the "improvements" coming...well the tarp looks like a lot like the first one,i was told it will have fabric over the zipper coils,it doesnt have...??..the only thing is a little flat lids with velcro on both sides(i still try to figure out why they done it this way) and locations for your poles.
In Qc, Canada we have a lot of rain and past years and this year i saw a lot of water getting inside by the zipper coils.

At the end it is just a tarp,Its fine,a lot of room but i was expecting more from it.

I know you to be a major fanboy of SO, as I sure am and feel that an honest report on any item of gear by any maker is beneficial to all of us, users, makers and prospective customers as well.

Nobody is infallible or "perfect" and errors happen, so, I would sure call the folks at SO and discuss this issue with them. My experience to date with SO is THE BEST I have ever had with ANY gear maker and this over more than 50 years. It rains a "little" here in BC, too, so, I can understand your concern.

SO is good and so are most of the specialty, small gear makers, but, screw-ups happen, what can ya do, eh! :)

Don't get me wrong, the tarp is a good tarp i just share my first impressions when i opened the box,Seekoutside have a freaking awesome customer services,i know that already and keep saying it to everyone who PM me for questions,Like you said no one is perfect,i think in my opinion and my opinion only than the tarp can be better.,Its hard to say something "against" a product from a good maker as SEEKOUTSIDE without having comments on my comments,i understand that but i stand behind my words
