Used it now about 3 weeks

Main part was 10 days in New Zealand. Held up to 77 knot gusts on the kestrel.. it blew harder but I didn't want to ruin my wind meter so didn't pull it out. Average wind over 5 days was 40 knots. Rain snow and sleet.

Things unreal. Went through 5 shelters trying to find something ideal. This works and only 90$ or so.

2 downsides. It does stretch so you gotta readjust as it wets out

The other is that it uses ur trekking poles (duh?) so a bit of a compromise vs a single trekking pole.

It's not crazy light either but man is it nice having room to groove during the shitwinds

Just spent another 7 nights in it mucking around in Moab area. Desert and alpine.

This thing is so nice. I had it up quite a bit at the beach in California and it held up in strong wind and sand.. those stakes are really good.

Fits wife and I and our two little girls.
