Anyone used one of the new Sierra Designs Backcountry quilt? Looking at picking up a 20 deg.

I have the original one and have used it since fall 2014. The fact that it’s bigger/wider and has the hood makes it a good product to transition from aMummy bag. The weight savings and packabity are nice. Lowest temps I’ve had it in were the 20’s and I had most of my clothes on. Rolling over was drafty, but you can seal it pretty dang well sleeping on the edges.

Watching the enlightened equipment strap system videos I could see why the strap system would be nice while also being annoying to deal with. I’ll probably try one of those when I wear out the SD one.

I’ve done the “rewarming” thing with wet clothes a few times and haven’t had issues with the SD dridown product yet.
