Heading solo into Unit 45 New Mexico for Archery Elk this year and I am contemplating bringing a small glassing/bivy tarp along. I am packing in with my Cimmaron and I want the ability to spike out from there if need be for a night or two and stay light.

Can anyone recommend a solid lightweight tarp that won't break the bank.

Thanks-
John

I have a sheep tarp and I like it. Try Bear Paw Wilderness designs. I would have ordered one from them, but I procrastinated and needed one right away and went with the Kifaru.

I’ve got a Sheep Tarp for my small tarp and a BearPaw Wilderness 8x10 for my large tarp. Both work exceptionally well for their intended uses.

I have been looking for the same thing. What do you think would be good size for two guys to sit under and glass? I was thinking an 8x10 but if we could go smaller then great.
