Trekking Pole Hitch or Extender

Has anyone on here used the Seek Outside trekking pole hitch? How’s the durability on this thing? Will it handle some open tundra wind without snapping one of my poles? I have the carbon pole, but 1 oz for the hitch seems friendlier than 10 oz for the carbon pole. At 1 oz, does anyone bring one as a contingency plan? Looking for the best option out there so if anyone has a hitch or trekking pole extender from another brand they like, those suggestions are welcome. Thanks

I have both from SO, I prefer the hitch to the extender. It’s kind of a pain but it’s been very sturdy for me. They are both good options, if I had to select one over the other it would be the hitch because of the variability it offers in height and it’s overall strength.
