Hey just got this in the mail from B&H. I think it's new but for $79-119 it's pretty bomber.

2.2 lbs and all carbon fiber.

I was trying to get a slik 522 but thought I'd see what this ones all about first. I'm just going to keep it n be happy. Anyone else have a reviews?

Sweet!!
Sounds like a darn good deal

I use a Sirui t-025x that weighs 22 oz. love my carbon tripod!! I've used it 3.5 seasons and use it as a rifle rest with a quick detach mounted on all my guns!!

I'd suggest getting several more quick detach plates for all your optics/guns!!

How do the locks to pivot the legs operate? Is it difficult to change the angle of the legs?

I have a different model of Benro but it looks to function similarly. See the little Benro logo at the top of the leg, that little bar pulls out a bit. Then you can adjust the angle of the leg depending on how far you pull it out. Not as easy as tripods with button locks but it's functional and works.

Does the bar that pulls out stay or is it spring loaded and pulls back into locking position?

Ok mine it stays in the position you put it. No spring.

This is an AWESOME tripod! This is what I have been looking for small (I never stand up and glass) light weight, carbon fiber tripod. I also got the B2 head, which I cut the handle shorter on. I took it apart and rattle canned the blue, I'm sure it won't hold up very long but it will get me thought season. After season I will do a more permanent fix. Mine weighs right at 3lbs.

You can grid better with a pan head. The cost of using the bigger head is just weight. My S2 combo is right at 2.73 lbs WO the arm. Tripod only 1.87. Tripod with ball head 2.2
