Getting my gear together for a backcountry mule deer hunt next year and wanted to post the main items I have already to see how i'm doing in the weight department. Trying to go as light as my budget will allow. Just curious how my gear stacks up to what some of the veterans are using. Thanks!

Here's my main items
KUIU Icon Pro 3200 with EXO lid
VIAM 10* quilt
REI Flash sleeping pad
TarpTent MoTrail tent with stakes/poles (might change this to the Moment DW, not sure yet)
Inflatable pillow (weighs basically nothing)

That stuff packed in the bag is 11.11lbs.

Obviously I have more gear to add but those are what I consider the bigger/heavier items. Thoughts?

Currently here's what I'm running with for 7+day hunts:

Kuiu Icon Pro Frame with Ultra 6000 bag + accessories (72.5 oz)
Tarptent Protrail w/4 stakes (26.0 oz)
Enlightened Equipment Enigma 20 degree quilt (18.1 oz)
Therm-a-rest NeoAir Xlite (13.0 oz)
Total weight (129.6 oz | 8.1 lbs)

Pros:
-fully enclosed, bug/creepy crawly proof set up
-plenty of room in the pack and with the beefed up pro frame it can carry more weight than I can
-pack is also lighter than most competitors i.e. Exo/Kifaru/Stone Glacier
Cons
-entire set up could be lighter

I really do enjoy this set up immensely BUT I'm considering making a change for my next hunt. Here is what I would change:

Add:
Enlightened Equipement Recon Bivy (6.35 oz)
Zpacks 6'x9' tarp (~6.6 oz w/4 stakes)

Eliminate:
Tarptent Protrail and cut 13.05 oz from my pack bringing the total down to 116.55 oz | 7.28 lbs

My early season setup;

Henry shires Tarptent complete with floor and netting, stakes- 2# 6 oz

Montbell down bag 1# 6 oz

Exped synmatt 2# 6oz

total; 6 # 2 oz

EDIT; forgot my pack....a McHale thats approx 4,400cuin...5#9 oz the way I run it early season without the top bag

So total is actually 11# 11oz

I’ll try to closely match, as much as possible, my gear to yours.

Stone glacier X-Curve frame and Solo (3300) bag= 69 oz.
10° Enlightened Equipment Enigma down quilt= 20 oz.
Short X-Therm Lite pad = 8 oz.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear CF pillow= 1.5 oz.
Mountain Laurel Designs cuben fiber SoloMid, with stakes guidelines and pole extenders = 17 oz.
Total weight, in a cuben fiber dry bag, equals approx. 116 oz. or 7.25 lbs.
I currently run a 14 oz. 30° enlightened equipment quilt that shaves an additional 6 oz. off my total weight and supplement clothing while I sleep. So my current set up is right at 110 oz. using the 3300ci Solo bag.

How much does the bear fence weigh?
I used 50 lb fishing line and cow bells this year, just to alert me, never was an issue thankfully, but have been thinking about the real fence, just so much weight from what I have seen.

This one's not too bad. 20'X20' square footprint, two strands of wire/line, and 38 oz. in the heavy duty bag with extra batteries.
