I have a medium 5 string Kifaru stuff save for my sleeping bag and love it. I wanted a large 3 string fit my lost park parka and with a hunting trip a week away, ordering one wouldn’t be an option with the time constraint.

Im semi-handy with a sewing machine and had a sleeping bag project planned last year and accidentally got DWR 30d nylon for lining, this seemed like the perfect use for it.

1” grosgrain, 30d DWR nylon, and gutted 550 cord

Nice work. Looks like it didnt take you long to say screw those bar tacks. Good call.

Yeah, I only plan on using it for my LPP, so it’s not gonna get stressed much there and the thread I used is really tough stuff. Hopefully it holds up.

Bar tacks are way over rated imo. Are they the strongest? Yes. Do you need that much strength in 99% of applications? No.
