Center zip beaver tail/gun bearer

I’ve been wanting a way to secure my rifle to my pack and can’t spare the change for what I really want, a Kifaru Sherman pocket, for a while yet.
So, I made a ultra simplistic take on it.




It’s 10”x12” in 500d. I don’t have pics of it mounted to me Reckoning, but when I get packed for this next weeks trip to Idaho I’ll get some good pics of it loaded and in use.

I’m still going to get a Sherman pocket, but this will hold me over until then!

Looks like a good working solution!
I have he Sherman pocket and I am still up in the air about using it as a rifle holder. Its a great "pocket" though.....
