I catch a bunch of flack from friends since the recipe I follow has beans and chili powder. Still one of the best I've had but I'm biased since I got it from my Mother.
1lb ground beef or venison
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 clove of minced garlic
2 15oz cans kidney beans
1 small can tomato paste
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 tsp oregano
1 T Worcestershire
4 T chili powder
a few dashes of Tabasco
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Usually adding a personal amount of actual hot peppers or hot sauce to the finished product when serving.
