So when will someone come up with an electronic ignition system to replace primers?
An igniter that would fit the primer pocket, maybe somehow the firing pin is replaced by
an electrical device, IDK.

It seems anymore that if you can dream it someone can make it.
I'm surprised no one smarter than myself hasn't done it.

If someone takes this idea and runs with it and becomes a multi- bazillionaire I'd appreciate
a t-shirt. Large. No pastels.

Friend of mine had one in 22-250, what a pile. He'd leave the gun in his truck in the winter in northern Wisconsin, battery would die, gun wouldn't fire, it was a joke.

Battery powered tools 20 years ago were a joke, too.

If a dead battery because of cold was the reason it was crap that's a problem that
seems pretty easily remedied.

Batteries and electronics have come a long way in 20+ years.

Surprised someone hasn't figured it out.

The other gun mentioned was a breech loader, CVA made the Electra, not sure if it is still made, I believe some states did not allow it for muzzleloading season.

I swear I saw an etronx for sale on here at one time. I think it was a 22-250. You couldn't give me one though. Can't find it with a search, maybe it was lro? Can't recall....but they're still out there apparently.
