So I had been running the quiver that came with my Hoyt Ventum but needed more room for a four blade broadhead and wanted to go back to my Tight Spot but hated not having a hanger for when I hunt out of a tree. Here is what I did and what you will need:
- 1 piece of paracord 12-14”
- 1 piece of wire (I used the black inside strand from some old Romex) 12-14”
- 3/16” drill bit
- epoxy (optional)

So I started by removing the inside of my Tight Spot

Then I removed the foam inserts

There are two marks from the plastic moulding that are nearly perfect for drill holes, I marked mine with a small awl, then drill two 3/16” holes

After this I removed the inside strands from approximately 14” of paracord and inserted the black wire from the inside of a piece of Romex house wire

I then threaded them through the holes I drilled and looped them around the post for the screw inside the quiver hood

Trim to length and I added a few dabs of a 5 minute epoxy to prevent water from coming in during a rain (OCD step)

Reassemble once dry and happy hunting!!

I see the new ones come with a hanging strap. I think I like the 550 Cord better!
