I had one in .308, was shooting 150 gr. Hornady sst which shot ok. Only ever shot it at the range and ended up cracking the stock near the tang area. Got the stock warrantied and sold it. It was super handy to carry around thou and if got another one it would be in .243 or 6.5 creed, recoil was pretty substantial in .308

Been looking pretty hard at these, you'll undoubtedly lose accuracy on a rifle this light but it seems like a screaming platform for a mountain gun for shorter shots

I have one, has killed two bucks so far, pleasure to carry at under 5.5#s. Recoil is not too bad at all with 130 TTSX at 2950. Mine doesn't have the brake. A little rough around the edges, but unbelievably light, but still easy for me to shoot accurately by holding on securely. Brownells has them for $899, I paid $1150 when they first came out.

Just ended up getting a (Davidson's exclu/308) set up … I knew it was going to be a step down in fit and finish from my tikka superlight and was concerned about accuracy as the reviews are kind of all over the place. I also have a substantial stockpile of ammo I was worried it wouldn’t like, relieved to say on all accounts I’m very happy. Using the brake and being 1.5lb lighter then my tikka (no brake) there is less felt recoil, which was anther concern. One other note… I prefer 2 stage triggers and stock trigger is “very” serviceable and with a lighter spring is quite good.

It took a bit of tinkering to get better than 1.25-1.75 moa, but I found a load with 130 TMK’s over 46.5gr of Viht560 that shoots good, but not real fast
