Kowa 773 and phone skope

I just picked up a Kowa 773 spotter and WZ eyepiece and a phone skope and adaptor. The adaptor is the C3-026-A which is the correct adaptor and does not fit over the rubber eyepiece but removed it does fit. Is that how the adaptor needs to be mounted on the Kowa eyepiece? Doesn’t seem right to me.

Are you able to share a picture of the eyepiece with and without the rubber?

I don’t have an exact measurement of the rubber eyecup but it’s roughly 2.125” in diameter.

I think you may have gotten the wrong adapter or an incorrectly made one because I have the same scope and adapter ring and mine fits perfectly over the rubber eye-cup. I would reach out to phone skope and see if they will replace it.

Definitely not the right adapter. I have used the PhoneSkope adapter on my kowa with no issues.

I ended up getting the wrong adapter. I reached out and the correct one should have shipped out yesterday at no cost.
