Man that is sad. Thats George Sprave by the way. He also makes alot of Bowslings that shoot arrows. That was crazy watching that guy take one to the skull. Hes a big dude too. Id say to anyone that says a Slingshot isnt deadly should watch this video. That was just on the bounce back even and it put him down. Lol.

If it's a fake then it's a heck of a good one. I'm thinking it's real. One heck of a special effects job to make his head bleed so real and the wound looks right too.

If you pause the video at 1:34 as his wife puts her hand on his head you can see the blood that is already on her hand looks dry before she starts getting blood all over it from it running down his head.



Also if you watch through the transition of the camera from when the ricoche happens to where it lands with the camera facing his head right where the wound is you can tell it was spliced at 1:25-1:27. Also the fact that the camera lands perfectly in place for the viewer to see the wound and blood start to run.

plus if you slow down the ricoche you can see the trajectory of the steel ball is going way left of him. but he reacts to add impact to the shot.

You're right. This has been around for a couple years and I remember watching it then. Here's the "how to" video on how he faked it. He is very entertaining though and innovative as chit. Just reconfirms how you can't believe a damn thing you see on the internet.
