Muzzle thread size for 300 Remington Ultra Mag Sendero

Hey guys,
I am going to be getting some work done on my dads Remington Sendero Stainless fluted 300 Remington Ultra Magnum, we want to get the barrel threaded. What size threads would you recommend? And we also want to get a new trigger installed. What would you recommend? Any other upgrade recommendations will be much appreciated

5/8x24 threads.

5/8-24 is the industry standard on most 30 caliber rifles, lots of options to choose from. There should be enough meat left on the barrel to give you a good shoulder for the break to tighten up against.

My 700 5r in 300wm is 5/8-24. I'd say that's what you have
