Question for the AGC Ravus users

Just got one of these bino harness. Also got the Magnetic rangefinder pouch as well.
Put my binos on with the supplied tethers that come with the harness.
A lot of times the lid does not want to close as it seems like the tethers seem to keep it from closing all the way.
Does anyone else have this happen?
Seems like a pretty solid harness but this is bugging the shit out of me.

Yeah mine does that. What size Binos are you using? I think my Binos are at the limit for length because when the eye cups are screwed out the lid doesn't close as nice as when they're tightened all the way down

Mine are a small 8x32 older pair of Nikons.

Maybe it is the little bungee tethers that are stopping it. That is the only thing that bothers me. Almost need a notch for the bungees to fall in when you close the lid.

That is what I think as well.

I do not use the tethers for the Binos. They get in my way anyway and I had the same problem. I've never had an issue with the Binos not using the tether. I do have a tether on the rangefinder in its pouch.
