Replacing a Model Seven Barrel - Brand question

I am going to replace the barrel on my Model Seven with a factory contour (#1) and length (20”) but with a 7.5 twist rather than the 9-9.5 twist that it has now. Groups the 100-120 grains well but not the 140’s. Anyone done this? Recommendations on barrel brand? I have a gunsmith that can change the barrels.

Any of the quality barrel makers will work. A perfectly cut chamber and crown is most important. Ask your smith what he likes.

Is it a 260Rem? Is it stainless? Thought about selling it and buying something properly twisted for the heavies? PM me if you’re interested.
