Seek cimarron size

So I'm trying to decide which to keep between an lbo and cimarron. Leaning toward the cimarron for its extra size, both for hunting and camping with the better half. Mg question is, will the cimarron fit on the average tent pad in a nat park?
I'd prefer to be backcountry camping, but the wife wants to see all the national parks we can and the size of this with a nest just seems like the perfect set up!

I was in glacier and my 10x10 tipi barely fit those pads.
