Surprise on the Prairie

Just got back from hunting Sharptails for a week. Hunting was great and had many mix bag days. Limited on sharpies almost everyday and had some great waterfowl hunts.

Last day had a nice surprise. Two of my dogs cornered a badger at its hole. Unfortunately it decided fight over flight. I was a solid 150-200 yards away when it all kicked off. Could have lived without that situation. Luckily the dogs came away unharmed and I was able to pull off a shot in the midst of the chaos

Could have killed one with my bow on Monday. Kind of a cool critter to watch mess around without knowing I was there.
