Talley scope mount for pre-64 mod 70?

Hi. I'm new to the forum and had a quick question on the appropriate Talley scope mount for my pre-64 Mod 70 .264 Win Mag. I'm replacing my current Leupold VX III 4.5-14 1" tube with a VX 3HD 4.5-14x40 CDS-ZL with a 30mm tube. The appropriate mount per Talley's website appears to be the "Winchester Scope Mounts Model 70 (.435) Pre 64 Magnum Length Action". The '.435' refers to the rear hole spacing; however, when I measure the actual rear hole spacing on my rifle it measures more like .850 (see attached photo). Am I missing something? I would have tried calling Talley but they don't appear to have a contact number. Thank you!

I don't have any pre-64's, so I cannot help you.

Try this number for Talley (803) 854-5700.
I have ordered directly from them, when I could not find certain things at retailers.

I needed the .435s, I was trying to replace a destroyed Leupold one piece for a friend, and as far as I can tell Leupold doesn't support that spacing anymore.
