Looking to pick up some Emma kites uhmwpe cord off of Amazon. Saw some good reviews on here about it.
Does anyone with experience using it have thoughts on what strength is required?
Will likely be using it for hanging elk quarters in bear country (if successful), and hanging food bags overnight. Will the 100lbs 0.5mm be sufficient? That’s all that’s in stock in Canada for a reasonable price.

I don't use that brand, but similar stuff for guy outs, hanging bear bags, etc. I usually get the 500 pound test or bigger. I just find it easier to work with. The thinner it is, the less I like hauling on it without gloves.
