What model zeiss are these?

Zeiss aficionados- I need help identifying this model binos. A friend is lookin at buying them locally and the seller doesn't have any info on them besides that he thinks they are 10x 42s . Price seems low for any model zeiss so i dont know if the seller is trying to scam or really just doesn't know anything about them. Being that it would be a face to face transaction makes me think the seller really mY not know

They look like pre-HD 10X42 conquests. You'd have to flip them over to see the data plate. Should say Zeiss Conquest Made in Hungary.

Those are definitely conquests. It will say the power of the binos on the underside of the barrel.

I wouldn't pay more than $300. Zeiss isn't as friendly to used optics buyers as Swarovski when it comes to warranty work. In which case he could buy a "less than alpha" brand new with likely better glass than those conquests with a warranty. Do not allow him to buy vortex though.
