Which rifle today?

I'm walking into my favorite calling location and find this. Hmmmm....have I brought the right rifle?

So I take it you didn’t carry in a .375 H&h? I don’t think I would feel much of need to call that location suddenly.

If it was anything except a 6.5 Creedmoor than it was definitely the wrong cartridge

Seems early in the year unless that pic wasn't recent?

Yes, that was an early fall pic. Obviously there was something dead back in the bush but we weren't armed for sorting that out. We always have a 12 ga with #4 buck and a handful of Brenneke slugs. We did call a wolf in that area and my buddy took her with a 6CM.

There's just something about it... when you come across like a big ol Bear hind foot print that's wider that you hand with fingers splayed open... that ratchets up the seriousness factor, doesn't it?
