Hi guys,
I was wondering how you guys pack in arrows for a hunt. I'm just starting to get back into archery hunting after picking up a long bow. It's a one piece with a bolt on selway 6 arrow quiver. I've taken it on one turkey hunt so far where I took the quiver off and left the arrows in and just strapped it to my pack and put the bow in a sock. I'm not really happy with that because it smashed the fletching and allowed the arrows to twist and be flexed due to the strap holding them. I was thinking about some kind of plastic tube but the closest thing I found while walking through lowes was heavy pvc. I've been riding my bike back into where I hunt other wise I'd probably just leave the bow set up and not worry about it. I also wouldn't mind having the ability to carry a few extra arrows for stump/ grouse shooting in the fall. How do you guys go about it?
