Very cool device and sold by the pair. Certainly allows you and a buddy to connect off the grid.

Has anyone field tested this product? Seems like it would be a pretty nice set-up.

Based on my limited knowledge, I see issues with it. It appears to work based on line of sight, So if there is a mountain between you and anyone else with it, your out of luck. Then it only works with other Beartooth users within 10 miles; so if you need any emergency help, it simply is not reliable. I'll stick with my InReach satellite communicator, as I can message my partners (minor delay in messages) and they can see my exact GPS location. I can also communicate with SAR/emergency services.
