So as of this time last year, OnX Hunt hadn't come up with a way to transfer waypoints from the desktop/online version to your chips (which I find ridiculous) but when I called they said it was in the works and should be capable soon. Does anyone know if we can do this yet?

While we're at it - does anyone know if you can export waypoints created in the phone app to GPX / KML or something like that so you can then use in Google Earth or similar? Likewise, can you upload Waypoints into the app created in Google Earth, Garmin, or elsewhere?

@cfdjay The Import/Export feature was released in late 2017. I will link the tutorials that will walk you through how to transfer files from your onX account to your GPS and vice versa.

@Brendan This will be the same process as the tutorials that are linked below. You will just need to log in with your account on our website and export your waypoints from your account then import them to have them on another device or program.

First you would export your waypoints from the Web Map
Exporting waypoints, tracks, lines, and shapes from Web Map – onX

Then you would Import them into the other program

To Basecamp/GPS unit
Importing waypoints, tracks, lines, and shapes from your onX account into BaseCamp and/or your GPS – onX

To Google Earth
Importing waypoints, tracks, lines, and shapes from your onX account into Google Earth – onX

Additionally, if you want to add any waypoints or markups from other programs into your onX Account, you can also do that. You would save the information as a file then import that into the Web Map

Saving from Basecamp/GPS Unit

Saving waypoints, tracks, lines and shapes from your GPS or BaseCamp to load into your onX account – onX

Saving from Google Earth

Saving waypoints, tracks, lines and shapes from Google Earth to load into your onX account – onX

Lastly, importing into your onX account

A lot of tutorials and information but that will have you covered for that feature! Let us know if you have any other questions
