I am trying to get my wife a bow set up to do train to hunt next year. Wondering what type of sight would be recommended? Will a 5 pin be good? 3 with slider? Or possibly single pin?
Thanks for any suggestions, it is hard to find any real information about the challenge and shooting courses

The longest shot we had was like 65 ish. I used a fixed 5 pin and was good

You see a just about every sight on the market at these events. Use whatever she is going to be most comfortable with as all shots will be as close to hunting scenarios as possible. With that said I've seen a lot of competitors going to a 3-5 pin slider, Montana Black Gold and Spott Hogg are probably the 2 most common brands seen at our events.

Thanks for the interest and thanks for the question. Good luck.

3 pin slider and take 2 of the pins off to start off and just go with a single pin. No chance of shooting the wron pin with just one. Still get 30 yards with one pin. 3 pins max. Not as confusing. Bottom, top , or middle...hard to pick the wrong pin with 3 but I prefer one on a slider.

I picked her up an MBG. Ambush single pin on AT.
Thanks for the help!
